“Mental health is the cornerstone of health; without it, we fail to reach our potential and fail to enjoy the journey.” – Dr. Kesia Vazquez
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) specializing in working with women. I earned a Ph.D. in Conflict Analysis and Resolution at Nova Southeastern University and my Master’s degree in Social Work from Florida International University. I also hold advanced certifications from the notable Albert Ellis Institute in Rational Emotive and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and certification in Suicide Prevention.
I am a first-generation Cuban American and a first-generation college student. I come from a lineage of strong women healers, fed into their community and families on a foundation of the theory of paying it forward and building each other up.
I was raised in organized religion but found the opportunity to leave the organization and began my own journey of self-discovery. Along the path, I overcame obstacles and learned how to heal myself, with proper guidance, through many different healing tools and therapeutic practices.
My experiences and education led me to explore new belief systems and forge a new path to find something that made sense to me. I look forward to guiding you to find what belief system aligns best with your purpose and heart.
Through our sessions, I will help you identify your wants and navigate you through the process to dispute any irrational beliefs and connect to your true purpose.
